The 152 all-suites Springhill Suites by Marriott Austin Airport provides reasonably priced accommodation equally suited to the business or leisure traveler. The six-story, non-smoking property is six miles from the airport and provides a complimentary shuttle to the main terminal. Other items included in the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a continental breakfast, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel has easy access to I-35 and nearby landmarks and attractions include Barton Creek Square Mall, Southpark Meadows, the Texas State Capitol, Tanger Factory Outlet Mall, the University of Texas and the LBJ Library. Corporate offices nearby include Advanced Micro Devices, Applied Materials, IRS, Motorola, Tokyo Electron and the Silicon Valley Group.

Former clients at this hotel said the location was excellent. It was easy to get to the airport, downtown and nearby shopping malls. The rates were reasonable, the suites spacious and the employees both efficient and friendly. There is a Marriott nearby if you need the facilities of a full-service hotel. Those who took advantage of the airport shuttle said it worked well. Words of warning from previous clients: The shuttle only serves the main terminal and not the south terminal. Springhill Suites by Marriott Austin Airport Accommodations
All the suites have a wet bar, microwave oven and mini-refrigerator. Other features are a work desk with high-speed Internet access, two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone, Internet browser television with cable news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. The bathtubs have spray jets.

This hotel has an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness center. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are several places to eat nearby including the Limestone Lounge and Kitchen, Logan’s Roadhouse and the Serrano Café. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. There is a full service business center, coin-operated laundry, valet-dry cleaning, vending machines and a gift shop and newsstand.
