I'm not sure if they had a business center or the charges, but in terms of a beautiful historic hotel, great fun location, I loved it! The piano bar had out of town travelers gathered around and the atmosphere quickly lent it self to a friendly place. The piano player was witty and had us all at ease. Then you can walk out to 6th stay and have your fill of great live jazz/blue/rock bands to make the night different than usually available to business travelers.
Historic and beautiful renovated a jewel among chains.

The Driskill was a beautiful hotel, full of character and history. On top of that, it was within walking distance of the state capitol and all of the 6th street bars and shops. The Driskill bar was a cozy place to relax, and our room was spacious and clean. It made our trip to Austin a memorable one.
Location was perfect and the atmosphere was classy and gave us a true Texas experience.
The valet parking was a little expensive, but it was worth it in a busy area.

The Driskill is a must-visit hotel if you like staying in a historical landmark renewed hotel with exceptional beauty and great service.
I loved the landmark tradition of this hotel's architecture and interiors.
The hotel staff was a tansy bit unresponsive-until asked.
This lovely, elegant hotel is located right in the heart of Austin. If you intend on going to some of Austin's more popular bars and clubs, it's location is ideal. It is also near the city's business district, is convenient to the capitol building, the convention center, the entertainment district and other key destinations. If location and service are key for you, then consider this hotel. There are rumors that this hotel is haunted but during our stay we did not hear or see a single ghost.
