About the Driskill Hotel
This lovely, elegant hotel is located right in the heart of Austin. If you intend on going to some of Austin's more popular bars and clubs, it's location is ideal. It is also near the city's business district, is convenient to the capitol building, the convention center, the entertainment district and other key destinations. If location and service are key for you, then consider this hotel. There are rumors that this hotel is haunted but during our stay we did not hear or see a single ghost.

The service at this hotel is fantastic but the rooms are pretty tiny. If it is important to you to stay near the financial and entertainment districts you could not ask for a better situated hotel. Otherwise, you may want to look elsewhere. Read our customer reviews?
Driskill Hotel Accommodations
The rooms are small and cozy with various themes like the Cattle Baron's suite, the Yellow Rose Bridal Suite and the Renaissance Suite. This is a charming boutique hotel but if you are looking for spacious rooms this is not the place for you.
Amenities offered
T1 high speed Internet access and cable access is provided with each room. There is an in room refreshment bar, ceiling fan and plush terry cloth robes. A nice feature is their 24 hour room service, concierge services and fitness center. The hotel's five-star Driskill Grill provides amazing cuisine to all of it's patrons. In the mood for pastries? Try their 1886 cafe.

From Dallas: Follow IH 35 South to the 8th-3rd Street exit, turn right on 6th Street. Follow 6th Street five blocks to Brazos Street. Turn right on Brazos. The Driskill valet is immediately on your left.
From San Antonio: Follow IH 35 North to 6th-12th Street exit, turn left on 6th Street. Follow 6th Street five blocks to Brazos Street. Turn right on Brazos. The Driskill valet is immediately on your left.
From Houston via highway 290: Follow Highway 290 West to IH 35. Follow IH 35 South to the 8th-3rd Street exit, then turn right on 6th Street. Travel five blocks to Brazos Street. Turn right on Brazos. The Driskill valet is immediately on your left.
From Bergstrom Airport: Exit the terminal and follow highway 71 West to IH35. Follow IH 35 North to the 6th-12th Streets exit. Exit and turn left on 6th Street. Travel Five blocks to Brazos Street and turn right. The Driskill valet is immediately on your left.
