Exceeded expectations. Great staff. Plenty of room. The hotel room was not much smaller than the one bedroom apartment I live in.

Plenty of room. Rooms has kitchen, separate bed and living rooms.

One elevator was broken. Had to use staff elevators a lot. Temporary problem.

This hotel is a very nice classy hotel even though decorations were a bit old, however, the staff was very friendly, and food was great! A place where you feel safe. Close to the capital and I 35. I definitely would stay there again!

The suite was very comfortable with a large marble bath room.

Self parking was very difficult in our large SUV. Parking spaces very close/tight!

Overall, nice hotel with friendly well dressed staff. However quality of guests was not as good. Poorly dressed, some were loud and inconsiderate. Staff did respond when we complained at 3 in the morning.

Room size, staff, appearance.

Our neighbors partied all night and sounded like they were in our room.

Doubletree Guest Suites Austins greatest feature is its location a few blocks away from 6th Street, which gives Austin the title of "Live Music Capital of the World". At the close-by downtown area visitors can indulge in a lively art scene as well as fantastic shopping and dining options to satisfy all tastes. Visitors can walk to the University of Texas at Austin and to the Texas State Capitol which is only one block away. The hotel also offerseasy access to beautiful parks such as Lake TRavis and Lake Austin where families can engage in fun water sports activities. Golfing courses are also conveniently located. As for the property itself, it features its own full restaurant, 15th Street Cafe, and cocktail lounge where guests can take in a relaxing atmosphere after a long and busy day. Rooms are inviting as they are very neat, clean and tastefully put together. They also feature very high quality beds. Suites include convenient kitchen section with microwave and refrigerator. No way to get bored at this hotel as entertainment options are covered by Austin´s great art and music scene and great television sets indoors. Rooms have ben recently remodeled and look modern. Customer service is definitely something to look forward to as the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great hotel for families. Elevators can be a bit slow.
