Not bad! - posted on 01/06/2007
We liked the 2 bedrooms because of family-the kitchen was nice-the place was spacious for a hotel room. Note--the housekeepers came in while we were trying to leave for the day and put the "recycles" in the main trash can and carried it out--it all went in the big trash dump!

This would be a great hotel if they kept up on maintaining the rooms. The couches and chairs were stained and old, all wood furniture was sticky, and the sheets has holes in them. I really wanted to like the hotel, because they're the only "green" hotel in Austin-- but with the poor quality I won't stay there again.

One of the best hotels i've ever stayed in. The location is unmatched( for those who like to shop). Real convienient to the convention center, I-35 etc; Definately recommend for families, business or couples.

I had a wonderful stay at the Habitat Suites. While their pool is small, it's clean. The staff was very nice, and my group really enjoyed the happy hours and used the available barbeque grill- which was very clean. My suite was a two-story apartment with a full kitchen and fridge, which was plenty of room for the two couples who stayed there. I could see this as being an ideal vacation stop for a family. The landscaping provides privacy and a nice variety of birds. Very lovely. The close proximity to a shopping mall with a food court provides variety for folks who might not want to cook, and there are other restaurants in the area.I wish there were more like this one. I enjoyed everything about it, especially their eco-friendly method of operating.
