The first room had gecko tail flopping in the bed...moved, then got bitten unmercifully by bedbugs.

I didn't expect luxury at a Super8, but it was difficult to find, and tricky to drive to the first time. Also, I found several insects in my room, the toilet backed up, and the air conditioner was very loud. They did have decent security, but it was actually needed, which is never a plus. The staff was courteous enough, and all of the basics were covered.

Decent location, but not in the best part of town. Front desk personnel need to learn to smile and try to answer traveller's questions. Breakfast was one of the worst I have encountered. The room though was clean and the bed was decent.

Room facing I-35 but not really noisy on the inside. Safe enough since rooms accessed from inside corridors. Breakfast replenished often by staff. Will stay here again next time.

Went there with a bunch of firends for our trip to go down the river and visit old friends. The only thing that had a weird scent to it was one of the elevators. The breakfast was very nice, good location, and great customer service. The bathroom was kind of small, but I'm used to a big bathroom. Will be staying there again. You just can't beat that. Hotel very quiet for being right off the highway.

The hotel is right of I-35 (but you cant tell when your inside)so its easy to find. It is also 5 miles north of the state capital building. Great customer service feels safe. A/C works REALLY good breakfest was good, nice pool and hot tub, little but good work out area. For the price you pay you cant complain. I would and probly will stay there next time. **If you are taking you cosmo exam want to stay there, you just get on the highway and exit 5.7 miles later. and breakfest is there before you leave.**
Austin 2 nights - posted on 05/06/2005
Our room stank! Mildew smell for 2 days! Never again will I go there. But we love Austin! The weather was great and there are a million things to do there. Our favorite things are the outdoor activities to do, parks, rivers and trails everywhere.
