The Super 8 Austin Downtown is conveniently located within walking distance to the 6th Street District. The hotel property isn't very well maintained with several guests noting maintenance issues. Guest rooms are worn and in need of a little more attention paid to cleaning. While a few staff members are nice enough, many guests have had issues with the manager being rude, unprofessional, and even yelling at guests. This hotel is very basic with no-frills, and while the rate is very affordable there are probably much better options for the money elsewhere in Austin. Read our customer reviews?
