This hotel is pretty much like the reviews say. It is convenient and the daytime staff was helpful. The night staff was just someone to give you the key to your room. Take your own pillow if possible because the ones in the room are flat. You need a good pillow to make up for the rock hard beds. The bathrooms were adequate, no problem with not having hot water. There was no musty smell in the room and it seemed relatively clean. If the beds had been better it would have been a 3. Continentat Breakfast was ok, nothing special.

Upon check in we were greeted by really friendly and helpful staff who directed us to a nice room that was tidy if a little dimly lit. All in all, very pleasant stay.

This hotel should not even be offered in a package deal. Especially if you are traveling with children.

The room we were put in was not in great shape. The worst part was that there was a very strong musty odor, perhaps from the carpets. Also very close to major highway and very very noisy at night.

This was the worst motel that I have ever stayed in. Beds were hard, carpeting was torn up, the toilet was cracked, and the whole room smelled like mildew. I was there with another person and there room was not any better.

This is a nice hotel. It was very convenient to downtown, the state capitol and 6th street. It was a pretty good hotel for the price.

The hotel was clean, service was good and the people were friendly. Overall it was a good experience except being invaded by about 60 teenage girls from a softball team, no fault of the hotel of course. It was quite interesting. You do need to get the lights in the pool fixed.

Very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to be as helpful as possible. Some areas of the room, such as doors and walls, might need to be cleaned a little better, otherwise we were quite satisfied.

I stayed at the Capitol Super 8 in Austin. It was easy to find and fairly easy to get to. The motel is very nice, especially for the price. I did have a little trouble with the front desk folks.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Super 8 University Austin. When I go back to Austin I will definitely stay here.

The hotel was not very clean, inside the rooms and outside. Broken glass was out in the walkway the entire 4 days we were there. The pool lights were out and the area had a lot of trash. The rain out of something every morning, butter, milk etc at the cheap breakfast. Desk Clerk not freindly at all.
