Sheraton Austin Hotel in Austin Texas

For the cost per night, I don't think we got what we paid for. Sure, the rooms were nice, but very small. Turn down service is nice, but our room was only cleaned once in 3 days. Room service was so late with our breakfast we couldn't eat it. Restaurant service wasn't all that great either--and both were extremely expensive. Front desk service wasn't very helpful. I've stayed at hotels for half the cost that provided much better service--the Marriot could take a lesson from them.

I was extremely pleased. I stay at about 4 or 5 hotels a year and have stayed at many Marriott properties, but this was the best one yet. The staff was extremely freindly, the rooms were very clean and comfprtable, the food was great and the location was good. It is close to the Capitol, 6th street, the UT campus and the LBJ Library.

The friendly helpful staff at this hotel made the stay a delight. The rooms were beautiful, spotless and comfortable. We had originally booked at another hotel for about $50 less a night - but you get what you pay for. We will stay here again next time we are in Austin for the UIL State Track meet

The manager on duty gave us wrong directions to the hotel, which delayed us with 45 minutes. For $120 a night I think also the hotel could provide complementary water in the room and continental breakfast. I do not think we will stay in this hotel again
