About the Sheraton Austin Hotel

The Sheraton Austin Hotel’s unique exterior was created to provide you with fantastic views of the surrounding areas. You are close to a number of great attractions, including the Capitol, the Business district and the Warehouse district. The Sheraton Austin Hotel is only a short drive to a number of golf courses and shopping venues. It’s also near The Austin Children’s Museum, the Barton Springs Pool and the University of Texas. The hotel is great for both leisure and business travelers and the staff is eager to help you in anyway they can. Please note, this hotel used to be called the Austin Marriott at the Capitol.

Sheraton Austin Hotel Accommodations

You’ll sleep well with the down comforters and pillows on the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed. Hypoallergenic pillows are also available. There are a number of guest rooms as well as suites, including the honeymoon suite. For a small charge you can access the High Speed Internet or request a refrigerator for your room.

Enjoy an authentic Southwestern meal at the hotel’s Rojo Red restaurant. This Sheraton also has a lobby bar, a coffee bar located in the gift shop and room service. Choose from the outdoor heated pool or the one located inside the hotel. There is a complimentary 24-hour fitness center for you to enjoy as well. Although you may not want to leave, the Express Check-Out makes leaving easy and less time consuming.

Take Interstate 35 South towards downtown Austin. Take Exit 234C (6th - 12th Streets - State Capitol) and the hotel is located at the corner of 11th Street and the I-35 access road.

From South:
Take Interstate 35 North towards downtown and take Exit 234 C (6th - 12 Streets - South Capitol). The hotel is located at the corner of 11th Street and the I-35 access road.

From West:
Take Highway 183 South to Interstate 35 South and take Exit 234 C (6th - 12 Streets - State Capitol). The hotel is located at the corner of 11th Street and the I-35 access road.

From Austin Bergstrom International Airport:
Take Presidential Boulevard to SH 71W and take Exit 183 North towards downtown. Exit 7th Street and proceed to Interstate 35 access road and turn left. Make another left turn on 11th Street. The hotel is ahead at the intersection.
