Hyatt Regency Austin, eight miles from Austin Bergstrom International Airport, is the largest downtown convention hotel. Near Town Lake, Palmer Convention Center and Stevie Ray Vaughn Memorial Statue, this downtown property gives easy access to most of Austin attractions. Warehouse Entertainment Center and Sixth Street –popular for nightlife, live music programs and shopping- are within walking distance. Tech savvy guests would love video message and checkout system, wired high-speed Internet and T-mobile hotspot wireless broadband. For energizing leisure, guests can explore nearby 9-mile hike ‘n bike trail or swim in the outdoor pool.

This conveniently located hotel offers an assortment of comforts for an enjoyable stay. All guests were impressed with its location. Most of them raved about clean comfy rooms with adequate amenities, lobby, helpful and polite staff, and views. However, they had a mix opinion about food and price. Hyatt Regency Austin Accommodations

Most of the guestrooms are non-smoking. There are 23 accommodations with patios or balconies. Guests can surf the Web and send email in the comfort of the room. The River View King room, lending itself to the stunning views of the Town Lake, features a California King sized Hyatt Grand Bed with plush linens, pillows and duvets for deep and restful sleep.

Branchwater Lounge, overlooking Town Lake, serves well-prepared appetizers and other beverages. LaVista Restaurant, known for fajitas, has a Tex-Mex / American menu.
