The 45-room Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Austin Central provides affordable accommodation for both leisure and business travelers. The three-story, non-smoking is close to Auditorium Shores, home of the annual Austin City Limits Music Festival. Items included in the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a continental breakfast, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The property is a short drive from the Dell Children's Hospital, downtown Austin, the University of Texas, LBJ Library and Museum and the State Capitol. Other nearby attractions include three golf courses, shopping at Highland Mall and the Palmer Event Center.

This inn gets many repeat visitors, which is a good recommendation. Those who paid more to have a spa suite said the extra money was well worthwhile. The central location was much appreciated by many guests as was the prompt and efficient services provided by the front desk. All the guestrooms, and 18 suites, have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, pullout sofa bed, Internet browser television with cable news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and IDD telephone. The bathtubs have spray jets. The suites have separate living areas and a microwave oven and refrigerator.

The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and a fitness center. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are several restaurants nearby including a Carrabba’s Italian Grill, an IHOP, Captain’s Seafood and Pappasito's Cantina. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a full service business center, a coin-operated laundry, valet-dry cleaning, an ATM and vending machines.

From Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) 13 miles: Exit the airport towards Highway 71 West. Continue on Hwy 71 West until you reach IH 35 North. Take a right to enter IH 35 North. Continue driving north on IH 35 until you reach FM 2222, exit #238A. Make a u-turn under the freeway to access the southbound access road of I-35. Make a right onto Reinli Street where the Fairfield Inn is located.
