Customer Reviews for Renaissance Austin Hotel

horrible manager - posted on 11/06/2006

This was our 4th stay (we like the area) and we will not be returning due to the rate price-gouging and the arrogant and rude manager who refused to refund a $19 rate overcharge for the 2nd night. I felt demeaned and devalued as frequent customer as a result of his actions, and will never stay there again.

YUCK!! - posted on 08/13/2006

Requested a quiet room and was located directly over the rest/bar/piano. It was veru loud. The elevator was over half way around the atrium from my room. Dirty silverware from another stay was outside room and never picked up. A/C filter was nasty & refrig. rattled. Bathrm had hair in the shower and toilet was sticky. Walls are paper thin and I could hear the couple above me. Rm service menu offered little and there were three diff. veal selections. Will not return . If you don?t care about sleep or cleanliness and you love veal you might enjoy!

Amazing hotel - posted on 01/30/2006

I stayed here over a weekend for a convention and I was blown away as soon as I walked in. Absolutely beautiful hotel and the staff was very accommodating even with a large group of over 700 people there. Breakfast was great as well as all the lunches. There are a lot of good resturants near by; one being a Cheese Cake Factory which was amazing as well. Stay here if you are ever in Austin

Beautiful - posted on 07/06/2005

This hotel is gorgeous, very quiet, and extremely comfortable. No complaints except regarding the cost of the orange juice. $4.50 for approximately 1 cup of orange juice to accompany 2 banana pancakes at approximately $5.50. I think the orange juice was at least $1 too expensive.
