The location is great for shopping and for eating. La Madeline's and Macaroni Grill are nearby. Very clean and attractive. No noise at all during the night. Easily accessible on the freeway.

The reservation people were friendly and helpful. We were allowed to spend the second night in the same rooms.

I was surprised that the hotel lobby remained quiet on a Saturday night. Few people in the bars or restaurant.

The Renaissance Austin Hotel, amid charming hills, is eighteen miles from Austin Bergstrom International Airport. Lake Travis, Mount Bonnell, Governors Mansion, Sixth Street, Erwin Center, State Capitol and Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center are minutes away from the Renaissance. Arboretum Mall, Great Hills Market, North Hills, eateries and upscale boutiques are within walking distance. This plush hotel with AAA-4 Diamond rating welcomes your four-legged companions. Almost all guests were pleased with polite and helpful staff, proximity to restaurants and shops, fitness room, atrium lobby, high quality food, and roomy accommodations with comfy beds. However, Internet fee was a major concern of most of them. A few visitors also griped about slow service, hard beds, limited parking on weekend and inadequate room amenities.
