We were given a suite with a kitchen including a full size fridge, a conference table separating kitchen from living room. Living room had a couch, coffee table, recliner and TV/entertainment center. The bedroom had a queen size bed that was very comfortable. Bathroom was large and roomy. It was definitely worth what we paid for it. I would stay there again, although I would request a non-smoking room/floor. Unfortunately I forgot to call ahead w/that request and the hotel was booked when we arrived, so we were put on a smoking floor. It was still ok though.

This is an older hotel and it is starting to show its age. That was the view of several guests who stayed at this Candlewood Suites in Austin. Fortunately the majority of clients were not deterred by that problem. They had an enjoyable stay and said the rates here were lower than some neighboring properties where the accommodation was smaller. Some employees here were praised for taking care of problems promptly and several business clients said they would return to this property on future visits to the Texas capital.
