The parking was excellent, close to the door. The room with two beds was a little small, but comfortable and clean. The iron, ironing board, coffee pot were new and in good working order. The shower was clean and didn't have one of those annoying low-volumn heads. Nice place for the money and
the pool being the best part.

The staff was very informative of where their location was and gave very good directions that allowed me to get there without any problems. The cleanliness of the hotel overall was great and I could see that they took pride in maintaining the hotel.

The microwave and fridge in the room was really a nice bonus. Loved the variable showerhead as well.

The 73-room Comfort Inn Austin is close to the University of Texas and provides affordable accommodation for both the business and leisure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this four-story hotel are a continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a newspaper on weekday mornings, in-room tea and coffee and parking. The property is short drive from downtown Austin and the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Other area landmarks and attractions include Lake Travis, Zilker Metropolitan Park, the State Capitol, the State History Museum, the Lyndon Johnson Presidential Library, Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center,Royal Memorial Stadium and shopping at the nearby Highland shopping mall.

Several travelers to Austin who selected this Comfort Inn said the hotel was not fancy but well maintained and offered good value. The rooms were clean and comfortable and those who spent a little more to have a microwave oven and refrigerator said it was worth the extra dollars. The hotel is not easy to find it is located underneath the freeway but there were no complaints about traffic noise. Several clients said the property was better suited to the business traveler rather than for families. Couples looking for a weekend getaway said the location was good close to the Highland shopping mall.
