The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Arlington provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the business and pleasure traveler. The three-story, non-smoking hotel is five miles south of the DFW airport and just steps from the Six Flags theme park, Hurricane Harbor and Ameriquest Field, home of the Texas Rangers. Each of the 121 studio suites features a separate area for eating, working and sleeping. Items included with the room rate are a shuttle service to nearby attractions, a hot breakfast buffet, a manager’s evening reception, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one room available for social or business functions that can accommodate 25 guests. Corporate offices close to the hotel include General Motors, Lockheed Martin, Siemens and L3 Communications.

All the suites have a wet bar, mini-refrigerator and a microwave oven. Other features are a well-lit work desk with high-speed Internet access, two-line telephone with voicemail, television with cable news and movie channels, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer.

This hotel has an outdoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness center. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are numerous places to eat nearby including a Salt Grass Steakhouse, a Papadeaux Seafood Kitchen, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit and Joe’s Crab Shack. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes.
