The staff is friendly and very helpful. Location is convenient. Rooms are very comfortable as far as living space and bedding. We encountered being awakened every morning very early by a trash truck that emptied the dumpster at the back corner of the building, needless to say, we did not get the sleep we would of liked on vacation.

Loved the breakfast buffet. Friendly environment all around.

It was very noisy. There was an apparent trash truck that woke us every morning very early.

Nice hotel with a great breakfast bar; it had a nice pool and the rooms were great. It was also nice having a kitchen with fridge for my children.

Every room had a separated bedroom and fold out couch.

Location; it was tucked behind other hotels and semi-hard to find.

The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott DFW Airport South Arlington is an all suites extended stay hotel catering to both the business traveler and families on vacation. The three-story, non-smoking property is in the heart of the North Texas Metroplex with easy access to area attractions that include Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Rangers Ballpark, Fort Worth Zoo and Lone Star Park. There are 103 suites with separate living and sleeping areas and fully equipped kitchens. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, a manager s reception on midweek evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one room available for social or business functions that can accommodate 32 guests. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the DFW airport and close to the University of Dallas and University of Texas at Arlington. Area landmarks and attractions include seven golf courses, the Fort Worth Stockyards, Cowtown Coliseum, Texas Motor Speedway and shopping at The Parks at Arlington Mall and Traders Village Marketplace.

Pet lovers liked this property. There were nice grassy areas to walk the pooch. If you are staying for a while the one-time $75 charge is a lot less than you would to pay for boarding kennels. Families here to see the sights said the fully equipped kitchens enabled some home cooked meals thus saving on restaurant expenses. Most guests said they would use this hotel on future visits to Arlington and had no problem in recommending the property to others.
