The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott DFW Airport South Arlington is an all suites extended stay hotel catering to both the business traveler and families on vacation. The three-story, non-smoking property is in the heart of the North Texas Metroplex with easy access to area attractions that include Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Rangers Ballpark, Fort Worth Zoo and Lone Star Park. There are 103 suites with separate living and sleeping areas and fully equipped kitchens. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, a manager’ s reception on midweek evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one room available for social or business functions that can accommodate 32 guests. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the DFW airport and close to the University of Dallas and University of Texas at Arlington. Area landmarks and attractions include seven golf courses, the Fort Worth Stockyards, Cowtown Coliseum, Texas Motor Speedway and shopping at The Parks at Arlington Mall and Traders Village Marketplace.

Pet lovers liked this property. There were nice grassy areas to walk the pooch. If you are staying for a while the one-time $75 charge is a lot less than you would to pay for boarding kennels. Families here to see the sights said the fully equipped kitchens enabled some home cooked meals thus saving on restaurant expenses.
