Customer Reviews for Embassy Suites Hotel Nashville at Vanderbilt

A wonderful stay! - posted on 08/29/2006

I was there with a bunch of friends and we had a great stay. The hotel was in a great location, the service was wonderful and the hotel suite we stayed in was really nice overall. The free happy hour and breakfast each day was a big added bonus as well.

Stay here! - posted on 05/28/2007

VERY helpful staff, found us restaurants which were just like we asked for (al fresco, early seating), suggested activities, arranged transportation, all with a smile. Rooms are wonderful and spacious, VERY comfy beds. Will go back again now that I'm a Vandie parent!

I highly recommend this hotel - posted on 03/03/2007

This is a very comfortable hotel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and well appointed. I felt very safe coming and going. The valet service was prompt and polite. The complimentary hot breakfast was terrific. I had to use a patch cable to access the Internet from my room but that was the only drawback at this hotel. Overall, this was a very pleasant place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.

very nice - posted on 08/31/2006

The room was nice and spacious, actually 2 rooms. Bed was comfortable and appeared clean. I like the extra vanity in the bedroom area so I could get ready while my husband was in the bathroom. Also, the closet was a decent size. The lobby is nice and the staff were overall pretty nice too. Overall it was a good experience. I just wish they had a pool and maybe a better view from our room. Views in street side rooms on lower floors (we were on 4) are not great. The location made up for it, being close to restaurants, hospitals, etc.

A nice palce to stay - posted on 06/16/2006

Excellent freindly service. Nice room. A little out of the way although they have a shuttle, which got overwhelmed during the Music Festival. And you gotta love a place which serves free drinks each evening.

Wonderful Stay - posted on 05/30/2006

I loved this hotel. The staff, the facilities, everything. The staff was wonderful and helpful, I accidently left my body pillow and they washed it and had it sent fedex to me! They gave us a wonderful price due to the fact that we were having to stay there because our twin boys were in the hospital at Vanderbilt. It was nice to have this nice hotel to come back to after being in the hospital all day. THANK YOU EMBASSY.

nice hotel - posted on 03/08/2006

What you would expect from an Embassy Suites. Breakfast was great. Have a managers reception in the evening that has drinks and snacks. Only downside is that the elevators are very slow and the keys demagnatize easily if they are by a cell phone or credit card. Easy walk to vanderbilt or downtown.

Great but the breakfast could be better - posted on 02/06/2006

Loved the rooms and the service in general. The breakfast left a little to be desired, though. While there were a variety of items, potatoes, cooked-to-order eggs, etc., none of it was very good. The cook-to-order chef half-heartedly overcooked the omelettes and the potatoes were dry and tasteless. The coffee on the second day was like mud (perchance leftover from Monday?)and the apple juice from the dispenser was like water. Everything else, though, was top notch including the managers reception and the friendliness of staff (excepting breakfast that is).

Great location - posted on 05/23/2005

We very much enjoyed our stay. Rooms were very nice. With the exception of the problems with getting wake up calls, it was a very good experience. Nice hot breakfast and good steak house on site.

Need some sleep - posted on 05/05/2005

Between a large and loud fraternity party at the hotel, loud bars outside the windows, lots of sirens and emergency helicopters, loud biker traffic noise until 2 am, we were almost able to get some sleep. We won't be staying at this site again and I do business in Nashville often. Sorry, but thanks for asking.

Once Again, Embassy Suites Are Tops. - posted on 09/21/2004

Having stayed in numerous Embassy Suite Hotels, our accomodation here was on a par with all the others - excellent, well-sited for downtown Nashville. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service, which was very hands. The onsite Omaha Steakhouse offers a wide variety of meals/snacks, with room service available 11am to 11pm. Our only complaint with this particular Embassy Suite hotel was the very poor buffet breakfast on offer. The dishes had not been replenished and there were no staff members present to whom we could make our meal request. Very disappointing indeed as the complimentary breakfast buffet is usually top-notch. However, we put this down to a 'one of' and we highly recommend Embassy Suites at Vanderbilt as offering excellent value for money.
