The 78-all suites SpringHill Suites by Marriott Metro Center provides affordable accommodation for both the business traveler and families on vacation. The three-story, non-smoking hotel is located between the Cumberland River and downtown Nashville. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 16 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include two golf courses, the Country Music Hall of Fame, Gaylord Entertainment Center, the Grand Ole Opry, the Tennessee State Capitol and the Nashville Convention Center.

Visitors to Nashville loved this hotel. The staff showed some true southern hospitality and the suites were clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was a winner, constantly being replenished, so nobody went without his or her favorite items. All of the suites have a pantry area with a sink, mini-refrigerator, microwave oven and silverware. There is a well-lit work desk with high-speed Internet access, television with cable news and movie channels, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, pullout sofa bed, two-line telephone with voicemail, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer.

This hotel has an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness room. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served but there several places to eat nearby including an Arby’s, McDonalds, the Stockyard Steakhouse, B.B. Kings and a Taco Bell. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, information on area events and attractions and a list of restaurants that will deliver to the hotel. Other amenities include a coin-operated laundry, valet-dry cleaning, copy and fax services, vending machines and a gift shop and newsstand.
