The Best Place Ever, Period! - posted on 08/04/2005

If you want to stay at the best hotel... stay here. They gave you silk robes, which were incredibly comfy, and even slippers. The bathroom, glass and marble shower with a powerful head, huge soaking tub, seperate compartment for toilet, 2 sinks, huge heavenly bed, wonderful sheets, 6 pillows, even the carpet was cushioned. Staff A +++++++++ worth the extra money

Just as described and simply stunning, beautiful. The lobby is a golden confection. Staff was very polite and quick in assistance. Though the little gift shop is overpriced. One of the most comfortable beds we've ever stayed in and the room was plush and gorgeous. Would stay again!

Incredible Hotel - posted on 09/06/2006

My husband and I spent a romantic weekend in Nashville while staying at the Hermitage. We have travelled extensively and the Hermitage was absolutely the nicest hotel we've stayed in. The conceirge service was incredible, the bathrooms superb, everything was perfect!

SIMPLY THE BEST - posted on 09/05/2006

Our visit to Nashville was wonderful. The hotel is simply breathtaking and everyone is so helpful from the front desk staff, bell staff. Our room was wonderful from the view of the state capital to the marble bathrooms and luxury robes. As we love to walk we were able to go to Broadway and 2nd where there are many things to do and see. We especially enjoyed the jazz/blues festival held by the riverfront. Simply stated this hotel should hold a rating of 10 plus stars if one were given.

Lovely old style charm (don't miss the beautiful lobby!) with modern conveniences (even a silent fan so the bathroom mirror never gets fogged). Very accomodating employees, good location, not too expensive.

Hermitage Hotel is the best - posted on 06/15/2005

I grew up staying at wonderful hotels on my parents dime but this hotel was EASILY the best I can recall. The service was beyond perfection, the room was gorgeous, staff helpful and friendly (not stuffy) and the lobby was so beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and those were perfect experiences as well. The turndown service was comprehensive - fresh cookies and classical music. They had a convenient tiny computer room which we desperately needed. Cider and cookies were provided during the day in the lobby. I hope my other son gets into Vanderbilt Law School so we can look forward to going back!

Wish we would have stayed longer. Could not have had better service.

WoW! - posted on 02/21/2005

From the moment that the valet met us at the curb to the moment we checked out, our stay at the Hermitage was delightful. A friend with children visited us during our stay, and my husband took them on a tour. The Lobby Manager actually led my husband and two boys on a somewhat guided tour through the hotel telling stories and history. At the end, he wouldn't even accept a tip, the courtesy was absolutely above and beyond. I highly recommend this hotel.

If you want to stay in a superior hotel with super service and guest attention, then pick this one. Would never think of staying anyplace else while in Nashville.
