Customer Reviews for Courtyard Vanderbilt West End

Had a great stay - posted on 03/06/2007

I had a great stay at this hotel. My room was comfortable. I didn't really venture out into the hotel beyond that so I can't review other features. The only thing that was a little annoying was the parking. They have a garage for guests but a friend picked me up and there was no where for him to park while he waited.

The room was smaller than expected for the monies charges and there was excessive noise in the hallway

I've stayed in the courtyard vanderbuilt/ west end many times over the last few months and each time I have had a wonderful experience. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Get a view of the pool if you can.

The worse ever - posted on 08/02/2005

I`ve stayed at many hotels in my 50 years and this had to be the single worse, except its proximity to Vandy. I've never been treated worse; the food was HORRIBLE (cold and tasteless). I'd rather sleep in my student's dorm room!

Great place to stay! - posted on 05/20/2005

Definitely NOT 1 block from Gaylord Entertainment Center. Excellent bed & linens! Excellent breakfast (not free) - will cook eggs to order. Stayed in tower with good view. $10/day parking fee - very steep entrance/exit to parking deck. Freindly staff. Nice large room & large bathroom.

What kind of bed WAS that? - posted on 04/21/2005

I am still raving over our trip! Whatever kind of bed they have...it is wonderful! Close to the downtown area, close to Vanderbilt and the area hospitals. This would be great for everyone! They were doing some renovations, but nothing that was in the way. They do need to level out the entrance to the parking garage, I bottomed out so bad coming out that I thought I had done some damage!

says hotel is one block from Gaylord Center. I booked it for that reason. It was 13 blocks. I felt mislead. Very disappointed. parking bad, toilet had problems, hotel still undergoing renovation, subpar breakfast.
