The staff was courteous and the location was very convenient to Nashville attractions. The room was clean and attractive, though the bathroom/vanity/closet area was awkward with doors going every which way.

We went to the Titans game and were able to leave our car parked while we were at the game, even after checking out. The valet guys were excellent.

I love the hotel it is close to all the events that I am involved in. Just wished they offered a discounted rate for emergency medical tech. And county sheriffs dept dispatchers. When you travel you have food and room expenses. It makes it hard when a family of three tries to have a good weekend when the first 1000.00 goes to room and food. They have no smoking rooms available it seems the country is holding people hostage on the simple things in life. Before long it will be that everyone stays at home so they can relax with a drink and a smoke.

The 192-room Courtyard by Marriott Nashville Downtown is a century-old high-rise set in the heart of the city's historic district. The 12-story, non-smoking hotel provides quality accommodation equally suited to the business traveler or families on vacation. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The property is within walking distance of Printer's Alley, 2nd Avenue and the Convention Center. There are seven meeting rooms for social or business functions. The largest can accommodate 100 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include three golf courses, the Ryman Auditorium, the State Capitol of Tennessee, Country Music Hall of Fame, Opryland and the Grand Ole Opry and the Cheekwood Botanical Gardens.

Frequent visitors to Nashville say that the location, within walking distance of all the action, is one of the major attractions of this Courtyard. The rooms are spacious, and the valet parking works well although it does cost $22 per day. Because of its location, noise was a problem for some travelers. Most visitors, however, said they would use this hotel on future visits to the area and would recommend the property to others.
