We stayed in this Hotel for The St Jude Golf Classic. The Hotel was very clean and tidy, the staff could not do enough for us. We were very happy with this hotel and would be only delighted to stay there again. Top marks to this hotel.

The 70-room Hampton Inn Memphis-Southwind is loated on the outskirts of historic Germantown and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both families on vacation and the business traveler. Items include with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet or breakfast to-go bag, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a copy of USA Today and parking. The hotel is located off Bill Morris Parkway and close to shopping at the Collierville's Carriage Crossing Mall. Area landmark and attractions include the National Civil Rights Museum, where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was shot, the Memphis Rock and Soul Museum, Sun Studio, the birthplace of rock n' roll that launched the careers of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and Roy Orbison and Graceland.

This is a well-priced Hampton Inn in a good location within walking distance of good restaurants and stores. That it the views of many guess who said the rates of this Memphis hotel were among the lowest in the area. The manager and staff got good reviews for their helpful advice about the area attractions and most travelers highly recommended this property to others.
