Customer Reviews for Radisson Inn Memphis Airport

Nice Stay - posted on 05/12/2006

We enjoyed our stay at the Radisson by the Memphis Airport. We had a very nice room and appreciated how accessible it was to the airport. Thank you!!

Billing - posted on 05/11/2007

I booked a room at this hotel on Online Travel Site, I used a debit card to pay and had a printed receipt from Online Travel Site stating that they had already withdrawn the money from my account to pay for the room. When I checked out, the hotel told me that they didn't bill me for the room that they would bill Online Travel Site. Upon returning home I recieved notification from my bank that the hotel did in fact bill me again. It has been 1 week and I have contacted both Online Travel Site and the Radisson and I have not gotten my money refunded yet.

Great location - posted on 01/24/2007

You can't beat it for convenience. On the airport property, 2 minute shuttle ride. Ask for a room not on the runway side. Our room looked out on the runway and from 3AM on we heard every Fedex jet power up & depart. People who stayed in rooms on the parking lot side said they were not bothered by the noise at all. Good value and they offer a park, stay & fly rate.

needs work - posted on 08/31/2006

Facility was generally very clean and front desk staff efficient and pleasant. However, room had a toilet that wouldn't stop running, a bathtub drain slow as molasses, and the bathroom door was totally missing the locking mechanism. Plus, bathroom had footprints on floor from cleaning staff.

Almost no room at the inn - posted on 07/19/2006

We arrived with our printed out confirmation but the first young man we spoke to said we did not have a reservation and sorry, but they were overbooked and we would have to go somewhere else. The 2nd young man worked with us and after an hour of turning others away, found us a room. He was fantastic. I would stay there again because the rates are reasonable and the hotel is clean and because I had a great experience with X. If the first young man had been the only one we had dealt with, I would never go back.

good deal - posted on 07/10/2006

I used it as place to sleep at night for the most part. Great value for money, compared to 2 star hotels offering same price. 15 mins by car to downtown.

This place is awful - posted on 12/01/2005

Pickup from airport, though only 400 yards away, is pitiful. Hotel located directly (150 ft.)next to main FEDEX runway. Therefore noisy all night long (about every 5 minute takeoff intervals)

Not a 3 star - posted on 09/28/2005

This place is not a three star hotel. Parking is quite difficult. Housekeeping was very poor. Twice they left dirty rags in the room. The walls of the room were very dirty. Carpet was old and thin. Overall not what I would expect from Radisson

Not good for sleep. - posted on 12/20/2004

This hotel is on the grounds of the airport. I had a room facing a runway and I knew it!! For a hotel on airport grounds it has very poor sound insulation. It is old and the rooms are not in good repair. It appears that they have spent some $ on the banquet facilities and I am quite sure that they are more interested in the impression of conference and banquet attendees than overnight guests. The restarant was not bad though.
