The four-story, non-smoking property provides economically priced accommodation equally suited to families on vacation or the business traveler. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby. Area landmarks and attractions include three golf courses, the Ober Gatlinburg Tramway and Ski Resort, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Ripley's Aquarium and outlet shopping at Tanger and Belz Malls.

All the guestrooms, and 33 suites, have a well-lit work desk with high-speed Internet access, fireplace, telephone with voicemail, coffee and tea making facilities, television with cable movie and news channels, pullout sofa bed, iron and ironing board, alarm clock and a hairdryer. Some rooms have the added benefit of a microwave oven, refrigerator and a Jacuzzi.

From Knoxville Airport (TYS) 35 miles: Left on 321 to I-40 East to exit 407. Take SR 66 to Sevierville, south on 441 to Gatlinburg. At the fifth light bear right to River Road. The Fairfield Inn is 3/4 miles on the right.
