Gatlinburg is a stone throw away from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. That means you’re just a hop, skip and jump from fantastic skiing, golfing and white water rafting. Oh, and we can’t forget the fact that you have hundreds of hiking trails right at your fingertips, or should we say tippy toes.
Christus Gardens is a well-visited site where a stunning garden depicts certain key points in Christ’s life. The creators of this experience have thoroughly studied the bible and done a fantastic job of making it all seen lifelike.
The kids traveling with you will really enjoy the Ripley’s Aquarium… all 1 million gallons of it, and the Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museums. Honestly some of the ‘things’ on display are too weird to believe. The Space Needle is another great fun zone. It has a virtual Rollercoaster, lazer tag and a fantastic view of the city. Another great way to enjoy a panoramic view is atop the Ober Gatlinburg aerial tram. The shoppers traveling with you will enjoy the many antique stores, boutiques and handmade crafts that are readily available.
