Close to everything! We did not want to have to drive and this was perfect. We have two small children and we wanted to be able to park the car and leave it there - walking to each place we had on our agenda. The Hilton garden inn gave us that ability. When we called the hotel we had to leave a message. The supervisor called back and stated that the two charges were customary and done for "security" reasons. (.?) But, the charges are to be returned. Other than that one incident - our stay with the Hilton as outstanding!

Beautiful room with friendly staff. Wonderful location - close to attractions - perfect for families.

Hotel charged our debit card two extra charges without consent.

The 94-room Hilton Garden Inn Chattanooga Downtown is located in center of the downtown riverfront area adjacent to the Creative Discovery Museum and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both families on vacation and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this non-smoking hotel are wireless high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a copy of USA Today and in-room coffee. Meeting space is available for business or social functions that can accommodate 100 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include the Tennessee Aquarium, Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park, the Chattanooga Choo Choo and historical railway exhibits housed in the city's former Terminal Station, Ruby Falls and Rock City at Lookout Mountain and shopping at Warehouse Row or the Hamilton Place shopping mall, the largest retail complex in Tennessee.

This is an excellent hotel with a very professional team of friendly and experienced employees. This is the view of many guests who have stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn. There were some minor moans about having to pay for parking and some of the facilities were in need of updating. Despite this most guests said they would stay here again and had no problem recommending the property to other visitors to Chattanooga.
