Easy to find hotel, great location next-door to local attractions (Aquarium, IMAX, River front), hotel staff very friendly & helpful. Room was clean and accommodating, with TV/internet/fridge in room. (wireless however not available in room. bummer!) Dining room in hotel was small and meal was overpriced. A free continental breakfast would have been a nice touch.

Location was excellent!

Staff offered garage parking as if free, but it appeared on Check-Out bill. Not cool!

The 116-room Courtyard by Marriott Chattanooga Downtown is in the ideal location for tourists visiting this city but has facilities equally suited to the business traveler. The seven-story, non-smoking hotel has one room available for social or business functions that can accommodate 30 guests. Items included with the room rate high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The property is within walking distance of the Tennessee Aquarium, Children's Creative Discovery Museum, Tennessee Riverwalk, Hunter Art Museum, Bellsouth Park home of Chattanooga Lookouts, and the Southern Belle Chattanooga Riverboat. It is a short drive to several golf courses and the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway, Rock City, and Ruby Falls.

All the guestrooms, and 12 suites have a large, well-lit work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, cable television with movie and news channels, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and two-line telephone with voicemail. The bathrooms have a separate shower and bathtubs with spray jets. Some rooms have a Jacuzzi.

The location of this Courtyard - next to the free tourist trolley and across the street from the IMAX Theater and the Tennessee Aquarium - makes this a favorite place to stay. Former visitors were also impressed with the affordable rates and a team of employees that were both helpful and efficient. Most clients said they would use this property if they visited Chattanooga again and said they would recommend the hotel to family and friends.
