The four-story, non-smoking property is located close to the Tennessee River and provides affordable extended stay accommodation for both the business traveler and families on vacation. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, evening socials on Monday through Thursdays, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The property is within walking distance of the Tennessee Aquarium, Children's Creative Discovery Museum, Tennessee Riverwalk, Hunter Art Museum, Bellsouth Park home of the Chattanooga Lookouts, and the Southern Belle Chattanooga Riverboat. It is a short drive to several golf courses and the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway, Rock City, and Ruby Falls.

Most clients were impressed with all the items that you get with the reasonable room rates, particularly the midweek social hours and the extensive buffet breakfast. There were complaints that some of the rooms are in need of refurbishing. However, most guest say they will return here thanks to the low rates and helpful and friendly employees. All the suites have a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven, stove, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, toaster, coffeemaker and a full set of cutlery and crockery. There is a work desk with high-speed Internet access, telephone with voicemail, pullout sofa bed, cable television with movie and news channels, hairdryer and an iron and ironing board.

This inn has an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness center. Breakfast and the light mid-week dinner are the only meals served here but the inn does offer a grocery shopping service. Room service is available from 11am until 11pm. Restaurants nearby include the 212 Market, the Big River Grille and the Perky Piranha Coffee Shop. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions.
