Upscale but not stuffy - posted on 09/02/2006
Room was updated, neat & clean, very comfortable bed & pillows. Towels were scratchy. Staff was friendly & efficient. This hotel will be my hotel of choice upon my next visit to the area.
Not Clean - posted on 08/07/2006
This hotel needs serious cleaning or updating. Our drapes were so filthy I wouldn't let my daughter touch them. The bathroom needed deep cleaning (there were spots of something on the door.) The upholstry on the chair in the room was dirty as well. The carpet was gross, too. The bed was comfortable and the lobby has been updated, but the rooms need it too. We waited for 1 hour for dinner in the restaurant, but breakast was good. Front desk staff was helpful and nice, but our waiter at dinner could have been more helpful and attentive.

Our room was very nice, loved the best linens, down comforters, etc. Room service was prompt and delicious. Kids were disappointed PlayStation wasn't working, but enjoyed wireless internet on the tv. Whirlpool was terrible (cold and dirty). Sauna was great. Some mold in bathroom. Overall a great value and we enjoyed our stay. Of course breakfast can't be beat - best grits I've EVER tasted!

The hotel is in a great location. Everyone was very friendly. I was a little disappointed that the indoor pool was closed for remodeling. But I guess it needed it. The valet attendants gave us great directions and suggestions. They told us places we could visit and pointed out brouchures they had in the lobby. We had a great time.

Convenient - posted on 03/01/2005
Great location but very slow room service. Indoor pool great for the kids. Use shuttle to get everywhere. Area was low on restaurants at least as far as we could tell. No fast food nearby for budget weary guests. Room was great, view was great and staff was very helpful.
Wonderful Stay - posted on 09/30/2004
I was in Chattanooga for a wedding and the best thing about the hotel was the clean rooms. The convenience of having a restaurant in the hotel was great. There is a variety of foods to choose from. And with my 4 year with us, even he enjoyed the stay. I was only 2 blocks from Warehouse Row where the outlet mall is located and I loved it!! The bellhop was very nice and being at the hotel made the whole trip worthwhile.
