About the Marriott Chattanooga Convention Center
The 342-room Marriott Chattanooga Convention Center is located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, convenient to offices, interstates, attractions, dining and nightlife. The 16-story non-smoking property was designed for conventioneers and the business traveler but its facilities are equally suited to the family on vacation. Complimentary high-speed internet access is available in all guest rooms and meeting space. Combined with the Chattanooga Convention Center, there is a total of 305,512 square feet of meeting, exhibit and banquet space available. The largest of the hotel’s meeting rooms can accommodate 450 guests. There is a free electric shuttle to the Tennessee Aquarium, Southern Belle Riverboat, IMAX 3-D Theatre, Creative Discovery Museum and other attractions.

Sadly, this Marriott hotel gets very few good reviews. Many who stayed here said it was their worst Marriott experience. Plus points were the location, being connected to the convention center, and the efforts by some members of the staff to show southern hospitality. It gets a 50-50 ranking. Hopefully with some money spent on the property for paint and carpets - and some training for the cleaning staff – that 50-50 will be changed to a definite YES! Read our customer reviews?
Marriott Chattanooga Convention Center Accommodations
All the guestrooms have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, IDD telephone with voicemail, cable television with movie channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, separate bathtub and shower, iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer.

The hotel’s Indulge Café and Bistro is open for breakfast and serves cocktails and lighter fare later in the day. The Terrace Restaurant serves American favorites for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room service is available from 6.30am until 11pm. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and fitness center. The24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a dry-cleaning service, fax and copying machine available for guest use and a gift shop and newsstand.

From Chattanooga Airport (CHA) 11 miles: Take 153 South to I-75 South to I-24 West to Hwy 27 North. Exit 1A, from MLK Blvd take right onto Carter Street. The hotel is two blocks down on the left.
