The three-story, non-smoking hotel is located close to the Sioux Falls Region Airport and the corporate offices of Citicorp, Wells Fargo Financial and Avera McKennan. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, a manager’s reception on midweek evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The region’s largest shopping mall, The Empire Mall adjoins the hotel. Area landmarks and attractions include five golf courses, Augustana College, University of Sioux Falls, Colorado Technical, Great Plains Zoo and the Thunder Road Family Fun Park.

This Residence Inn gets good reviews for its well-equipped suites and a crew of efficient and helpful employees. Families who stayed in a two-room suite said it was ideal. The kitchens were great for preparing home cooked meals and there were three televisions – avoiding squabbling on which channel to watch. From Sioux Falls Airport (SFD) 9 miles: Take Minnesota Avenue North to Highway 38.Go west on Highway 38 to I-29. Go south on I-29 to exit 77. Turn left on 41st and travel for three blocks. Turn into Empire Mall parking lot and follow the service road around behind the mall to the southwest corner.
