This new Marriott Fairfield Inn and Suites is home to South Dakota's largest indoor water park. The 141-room, non-smoking hotel is located close to I-90 and the Rapid City Regional Airport. The four-story inn is within easy driving distance of Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. The 30,000 square-foot WaTiki indoor water park includes waterslides, lazy river, an arcade, and a full grill and bar area. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a hot breakfast buffet, including the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The inn has two rooms for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 70 guests.

The major attraction of this Marriott property has to be the WaTiki indoor water park, which is attached to the hotel. It attracts families who say this new inn is a wonderful place to stay. It gets good reviews from but travelers too. Executives appreciated the meeting facilities and business center. All the guestrooms, and 48 suites, have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, microwave oven, cable television with movie channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and dual-line telephone with voicemail. Bathrooms have a separate shower and a bathtub with spray jets.

The WaTiki Bar and Grill, in the water park that adjoins the hotel, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel has an exercise room and full-service business center. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area attractions and events.
