Former visitors to this hotel were much impressed with the size of the rooms, the amenities and friendly and helpful staff. Those who stay in the area on a regular basis say there are cheaper rooms available nearby but this property is well worth the extra few dollars. Many said the breakfast buffet was extensive. From I-26 West (Downtown): Use Exit 213 and bear right to traffic light (Montague Ave.) Turn left at traffic light onto W. Montague Ave. and proceed to 1st traffic light (International Dr.) Turn right onto International Dr. and proceed to 1st traffic light (Tanger Outlet Blvd.) Turn right onto Tanger Outlet Dr. and proceed 4/10 of a mile and turn right into Wingate Inn back entrance. From Charleston International Airport: You will be leaving the airport on International Drive / Proceed to the 6th traffic light (Tanger Outlet Blvd.) and turn left / Proceed 4/10 of a mile and turn right into Wingate Inn back entrance. From I-526 West (Mount Pleasant): Use Exit 16 (International Drive/Airport) and turn left at traffic light. Proceed on International Dr. to the 3rd traffic light and turn left (Tanger Outlet Blvd.). Proceed on Tanger Outlet Blvd. for 4/10 of a mile and turn right into Wingate Inn back entrance. From I-526 East (Savannah/ West Ashley): Use Exit 17. Bear right onto I-26 East. Proceed one mile and use Exit 213 A. Bear right into Centre Pointe. Merge onto Tanger Outlet Blvd. Proceed 3/10 of a mile and turn right into Wingate Inn back entrance.
