THIN WALLS = NO SLEEP! - posted on 02/25/2007
Great Hotel but the walls were so thin, when someone next door had the TV on you could not sleep. The same was true when people were up late talking. It was like they were in your room. Everything else was great, but I got no sleep.

We stopped here overnight on a two-day trip to Charleston. The Hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone desiring a good nights sleep. We were fairly close to all of our scheduled activities, and we used the hotel for resting. Three kids two adults. I liked the hotel but did not receive cookies at night. (Forgot to ask)

Feel very comforatable about choosing this hotel. The facility is clean, up to date, and has a friendly staff. It is close enough to downtown and Folly Beach.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND ACCOMADATIONS. JUST MINUTES TO DOWNTOWN. FRIENDLY STAFF. VERY QUITE AND YET JUST OFF INTERSTATE AND AIRPORT. WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE VISITING CHARLESTON, SC

We booked here based on the Marriott reputation, affordable price, and fairly convenient location to downtown. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the friendly service of the hotel staff. The evening plate of gourmet cookies for hotel guests was a nice touch for the end of a day when we dragged ourselves in from each day of fun and adventure in Charleston. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a comfortable stay at an affordaable price.

Not worth 3 stars.Tacky furniture. Had to listen to drunks coming back to their room in the middle of the night and argueing with their girlfriends. Stayed one night instead of two. Waitress in a restaurant warned us to be carefull of the bad area . Would never go back!!
