We arrived and got a smoking room, had requested a non-smoking room, couldn't change until next day. People from neighboring hotel came to continental breakfast, which was not much to speak of.

We had a flood in our room when we checked in, no hot water in the sink and found a hyperdermic needle in the room. My college dorm was in better condition. Was told that the needle would be removed and was still there the day we left. But the water issues were fixed. Was given a towel to dry up flooded carpet first night

I wish I had more room-can't help but wonder if that is not on purpose. This hotel was absolutely horrible. Thankfully we found reservations & moved after the first night. Dirty, bad service, smelly, room looked like a lower end doom room that 20 teenagers had partied in for years. Very dissapointing for my first trip to Myrtle Beach. I expected way more from a large chain like Days Inn.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed for vacation. The grounds around the hotel were filthy and the pool area was strewn with food and pizza boxes. Days Inn Corporate should pull their affiliation with this hotel.

There were no restaurants or bars or any public entertainment within walking distance. We cancelled our second night there and stayed somewhere else.
