This hotel was just fine. We had 3 great days and 2 awesome nights the over the new years weekend.

Overall this was a great hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Even though I decided against maid service, the maid left a bag of towels, shampoo, etc. The only complaint is the elevator. One of them wasn't working at all and the other was very small and extremely slow. It also kept stopping on the wrong floor. I was a little apprehensive about using it because I was scared it might get stuck in between floors. The elevator also had no fan in it which made it very hot.
I liked the location of the hotel and the other people that were staying there.
The elevator needed to be updated. It had no fan, it was very small and it kept getting stuck on the wrong floor.

One-bedroom suites, two-bedroom penthouse apartments and hot tub suites are available. Handicap accessible and non-smoking rooms are also available.

Many visitors to Myrtle Beach who stayed at this Comfort Inn said they got what they paid for. The rates were lower than several neighboring properties and the accommodations here were not as modern or spacious as the competing hotels. There were gripes that this hotel was in need of updating and the breakfast area was small and several times clients had to stand for their first of the meal of the day. We give it the YES rating because of its oceanfront location and a helpful team of employees. Those wanting up-to-date accommodation will need to look elsewhere – and be prepared to pay more.
