The 90-room Comfort Inn and Suites Myrtle Beach Front Central is on the beach across from the Family Kingdom amusement park and provides affordable accommodation designed for couples and families on vacation. Items included with the room rate are a deluxe continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a copy of USA Today, in-room coffee and parking. The hotel is less than five miles from the Myrtle Beach Airport and Ripley’s Aquarium. Other area landmarks and attractions include Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede dinner and show, Barefoot Landing, Myrtle Waves Water Park, Broadway at the Beach, the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and numerous shopping and outlet malls.

Many visitors to Myrtle Beach who stayed at this Comfort Inn said they got what they paid for. The rates were lower than several neighboring properties and the accommodations here were not as modern or spacious as the competing hotels. There were gripes that this hotel was in need of updating and the breakfast area was small and several times clients had to stand for their first of the meal of the day. We give it the YES rating because of its oceanfront location and a helpful team of employees. Those wanting up-to-date accommodation will need to look elsewhere – and be prepared to pay more. All the rooms have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, television with cable movie and news channels, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffeemaker, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and telephone with voicemail. One-bedroom suites, two-bedroom penthouse apartments and hot tub suites are available. Handicap accessible and non-smoking rooms are also available.

This hotel has indoor and outdoor oceanfront swimming pools, a kiddie pool and a hot tub. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here.
