The three-story Baymont Inn and Suites Myrtle Beach is close to the Dixie Stampede and the Carolina Opry and provides economically priced rooms for the vacationer and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate are a deluxe continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room coffee and parking. The property is close to the House of Blues and opposite the Comedy Cabana. Other area landmarks and attraction include numerous golf courses, Ripley’s Aquarium, Barefoot Landing, Myrtle Waves Water Park, Broadway at the Beach, the Myrtle Beach Speedway, the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and numerous shopping and outlet malls.

There have been some changes made at this hotel – most of them for the better. This was a Holiday Inn Express and visitors then said it was indeed of some upgrading. Now it is a Baymont Inn improvements have been made and recent visitors are impressed by the well equipped, quality rooms that are spacious and spotlessly clean. The rates are reasonable and the cheerful team of employees does a great job to insure that all guests have an enjoyable stay. Words of warning from former guests: This hotel is not on the beach. All rooms have high-speed Internet access, television with cable movie and news channels, coffeemaker, alarm clock, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and telephone with voicemail. Some rooms have the added benefits of a microwave oven and refrigerator. Handicap accessible rooms are available. Rollaway beds are available at a cost of $10 per night.

This inn has an outdoor swimming pool and at the time of writing a fitness center is under construction. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here.
