Good family location on an excellent beech. Good size clean room. No view whatsoever. Average continental breakfast.

The 68-room Palms Hotel is located on the beach on the Isle of Palms and provides quality affordable accommodation for couples and families on vacation. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access throughout the property, local telephone calls, in-room tea and coffee and parking. The area is known for its crabbing and fishing in the Intracoastal Waterways creeks and marshes and golf and tennis at the nearby Wild Dunes Resort. The island boasts seven miles of white sandy beach. Area landmarks and attractions include the Isle of Palms Recreation Complex, historic Charleston, Mount Pleasant, numerous southern plantations, Fort Moultrie and Sullivans Island.

This was once a Holiday Inn Express. It got good reviews then and it continues to earn them now as The Palms Hotel. Main attraction here is the wonderful oceanfront location. Several guests say the property is a little dated but they still love the place. There are good reviews for the team of helpful and efficient employees, affordable rates and a beach that is rated as one of the best in the south. Most clients say they have no problem on recommending this hotel to fellow travelers and plan to stay here themselves on future visits to the Charleston area.
