The 78 all-suites Residence Inn by Marriott Greenville-Spartanburg Airport is within walking distance of restaurants and shops and four miles from the airport. The pet-friendly non-smoking property is designed for the long stay leisure or business traveler. Items included with the room rate are an extensive breakfast buffet, an evening social hour on weeknights, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The three-story inn is minutes away from the Greenville County Museum of Art, Peace Center for the Performing Arts, Bob Jones University Museum and Gallery. The inn has one meeting room for social or business functions that can accommodate 30 guests. There are three golf courses within a short drive of the property.

Those who have stayed here say the suites are spacious, clean and comfortable and the rates are reasonable. The complimentary full American breakfast and the drinks given at the evening social pleasantly surprised many clients. One disappointment was that there is no shuttle to the airport. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are several places to eat nearby including a Macaroni Grill, California Dreaming and the Atlanta Bread Co. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, a list of restaurants that will deliver to the property and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a coin-operated laundry, a grocery shopping service, fax and copying machines available for guest use and a picnic area with a barbecue grill.
