About the Hyatt Regency Greenville

This modern 330-room hotel is perfectly suited for business conventions or families eager to explore historic Greenville. The Hyatt Regency Greenville is reasonably priced and located in the center of the city within walking distance of sights, shops and within easy driving distance of numerous golf courses. This is the largest convention hotel in the city yet intimate for families to enjoy. Away from the city are the South Carolina mountains and lakes and closer in are the Greenville Zoo and the Bi-Lo Center if you want to attend a rock concert. The BMW Performance Center, located in nearby Greer, South Carolina, just minutes away from the hotel, is where you can test your driving finesse on one of four courses at this $12.5 million state-of-the-art campus.

Great hotel, in a great location in a great city. That was the consensus of most former visitors to this property. Useful tip from earlier guests: Rooms with views over downtown allowed more privacy than those facing the atrium lobby. Hyatt Regency Greenville Accommodations

Rooms have views of downtown or the eight-story glass atrium and come with a choice of one king or two double beds. Amenities include a flat screen TV with cable channels and videos on demand, hairdryer, IDD telephone with voicemail, Internet access, iron and ironing board and coffee maker. Safety deposit boxes are available at the front desk.

The hotel’s award-winning Provencia restaurant is open for breakfast lunch and dinner and the nearby Commons Bar has snacks as well as a fully stocked bar. The hotel pool opens at 7am and is adjacent to the fitness center. There is an on-site gift shop and the business center is well equipped to handle copying, printing and fax services. The property has extensive space to stage exhibitions as well as business conferences and banquets. There are soda and ice machines throughout the property and the 24-hour front desk can arrange currency exchange and help find a baby sitter.

From Greenville Spartanburg International Airport (14 miles): Depart the airport heading south on GSP Drive. Proceed straight toward I-85 / Greenville / Spartanburg, and then merge onto I-85 South toward Greenville. Merge onto I-385 North via Exit 51, toward Downtown / Greenville. I-385 North becomes East North Street / I-385 Spur. Make a slight right onto Beattie Place, then turn left onto North Main Street and proceed to the hotel. From Chattanooga and Atlanta: Take I-24 East toward Atlanta / Knoxville. Merge onto I-75 South via Exit 185A toward Atlanta (crossing into Georgia). Take the I-285 West / I-285 East exit #259 toward Birmingham / Tampa / Greenville / Augusta. Merge onto I-285 East / GA-407 East via Exit 259B toward Greenville / Augusta. Merge onto I-85 North via Exit 33B toward Greenville (crossing into South Carolina). Merge onto US-29 North via Exit 42, and then turn left onto East Coffee Street. Turn right onto North Main Street, proceed to hotel.
