The 134-room Fairfield Inn by Marriott Florence caters to the budget-minded business and leisure traveler. The three-story, non-smoking hotel is minutes away from the Darlington NASCAR Raceway, the Florence Civic Center and within walking distance of shopping at the Magnolia Mall. Items included in the room rate are an expanded continental breakfast, including the Jimmy Dean Breakfast Sandwich, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and a morning newspaper. The property is 10 miles from the Crossings Golf Club and seven miles from the Florence Regional Airport. There is a jogging and fitness trail two miles away and it is a short drive to the Darlington International Dragstrip.

Now that this Fairfield Inn has been renovated the complaints about the property looking a little tired and jaded have stopped. Now customers say they will continue to use this hotel on future visits to Florence. Attracting them back are the very reasonable rates, a crew of happy and efficient employees and the outdoor heated swimming pool.
