Items included with the room rate at this four-story, non-smoking hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, a manager’s reception on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a copy of USA Today, in-room coffee and parking. The property has meeting space available for business or social functions. The hotel is a short drive from the Columbiana Centre shopping mall, Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens and the Iceland Skating Center. Other area landmarks and attractions include several golf courses, the University of South Carolina, Fort Jackson - the United States Army's Initial Entry Training Center, South Carolina State Museum, Carolina Coliseum, Lake Murray, the Governor’s Mansion, South Carolina State Fairgrounds and the Williams-Brice Stadium.

This Comfort Suites gets good reviews about its location – close to shops and restaurants – spacious, well equipped rooms, reasonable rates and a cheerful team of employees determined that all guests should have an enjoyable stay. Unexpected bonus was the manager’s reception on midweek evenings. There were some minor gripes about the $1 additional charge for the in-room safe.
