This hotel was the best 2 star hotel I've every stayed at. The next time I'm in Columbia I will definitely stay here.

Location, cleanness, friendly smile, helpful staff and very professional. Everyone greeted me in passing or standing. Fast service.

The 89 all-suites pet-friendly TownePlace Suites by Marriott Columbia Harbison provides budget-priced accommodation for both the business traveler and families on vacation. The three-story, non-smoking hotel is close to the University of South Carolina, Fort Jackson army base, and many corporate offices. Items included with the room rate are an expanded continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The property comprises studios and one and two-bedroom suites with separate living, work and sleep areas. The hotel is three miles from the Cold Stream Golf Club. Area attractions and landmarks include the Carolina Coliseum, Finley Park, Columbia Shopping Mall, Lake Murray and the Koger Center for the Arts.

Former guests at this Marriott property said that the front desk staff made that extra effort to make clients feel welcome. Their knowledge of the area was a great help to first time visitors to Columbia. Most of those who have stayed here say the prices are reasonable for the spacious accommodation. Several travelers who have stayed at competing nearby hotels said they would use this hotel on future visits to Columbia.
