The hotel was in a beautiful area that had great accessibility to the interstate, but was distant enough to be quiet. It looked new and has been well cared for. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It was a great stay!

The location, almost right off the expressway but still secluded, was ideal. Surroundings were beautiful and quiet. The room was excellent. The service was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would happily stay there if we ever have occasion to visit Columbia again.

The 83-room Courtyard by Marriott Columbia Northeast provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the business and leisure traveler. The there-story, non-smoking property has one meeting room available for social or business functions that can accommodate 30 guests. Items included in the room rate are high-speed Internet access, parking, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are five golf courses within a 10-mile radius of the hotel. Other nearby landmarks and attractions include Riverbanks Zoo, the Department of Archives and History, Fort Jackson, William Brice Stadium, the University of South Carolina and the Columbia Museum of Art.

All the guestrooms, and seven suites, have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, cable television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and two-line telephone with voicemail. The bathtubs have spray jets and some of the accommodation has the added benefit of a microwave oven and refrigerator.
