Customer Reviews for Comfort Inn Ft. Jackson

yikes - posted on 05/09/2007

was not at all impressed by this hotel. the only positive was the staff. The hotel itself is in dire need of a renovation. It was fairly clean, but had that "old" smell to it. While they did quickly replace the mat in the shower (without us asking for it), the floor was sticky. there was no chair for the desk ... and i'm not sure but I think there must have been fleas or something ... WILL definately opt to pay more someplace else next time. What we saved here was not worth it.

Very nice place-need to clean and get rid of bugs - posted on 10/02/2006

I arrived after 9pm-too tired to leave, roaches were crawling over the bed and phone! in room 107- Front desk guy apologized put me in another room #207-it smelled like smoke and the carpet was dirty, but no roaches. After checking the bed for bug, I was relieved and went to sleep. I actually enjoyed my stay, but will take RAID and Lysol on the next visit! This is a very nice hotel, very convenient to Hwy 20 and other businesses. They just need to clean up and call Orkin!

Very Good - posted on 08/23/2006

Stayed for 3 nights; was in for sons Graduation from Army; easy to get to base on 77 North; convenient to shopping and eating; no problems. Train at back of hotel came thru (very close to hotel) but I went back to sleep just fine. Staff was nice. I would stay here again!

Not worth the dollars - posted on 03/26/2006

The bedding was burned, the toilet would not flush, a train runs right next to the hotel at 2:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. The furniture was old.

We were very disappointed - posted on 08/18/2005

One of the three rooms we reserved smelled horribly of mold and everything was wet. The front desk would not help us so we had to sleep in it. The next day they moved us to another room. When we checked out we complained and they removed that night from our bill and gave us a receipt for each of the three rooms, one was for only 2 of the 3 nights. When I got home I checked my account and they charged us full price anyway for all 3 rooms. I have complained to their parent company and have not received a response.

Matts Graduation - posted on 08/16/2005

Our stay was absolutely wonderfull, the staff was very attentive to ours needs, our son graduated from boot camp and we wanted to watch movies from home, the hotels tv would not accommodate our dvd player so the hotel helped us get a tv that would.

Sons Graduation from Boot Camp - posted on 08/09/2005

We stayed 5 nights here at the Comfort Inn, the staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs, although the hotel was extremely busy the weekend that we stayed they always made time to handle concerns they even helped us get a compatable tv so our son could watch the movies that he had missed while in basic training, they are the greatest.

Cleaning - posted on 08/02/2005

The main reason I didn't like this hotel is the tub/shower was very unclean. I had to go to store to get Lysol Spray and Clorox Bleach for Tub and sink. The tub and mat was filthy as though it hadn't been touched in months. The room was slightly damp with mildew in the ceiling which makes it unhealthy for anyone with asthma, etc.
