Wonderful experience - posted on 12/19/2005
We really enjoyed our stay at the Elliot House Inn. It was charming; we loved the bikes you could use, the jacuzzi, the breakfasts in the morning and afternoon wine and cheese. A wonderful experience for myself and our family.

The facility is attractive and close to historic downtown. Parking is conveinient across the street at $12 a day. The walls are typical for an older building the talking and snoring of the rooms next to me kept me from getting the rest I had hoped for. The staff was friendly but we did find a few small items missing from our room when we left. I wouldn't stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend visit. I had read the reviews of other travelers and stayed there because of them. Our experience matched those of others who loved the canopy bed, the wine and cheese in the delightful courtyard and the breakfast delivered to our room. Parking in the deck across the street made it easy.

This is is in a great location! The service is great and it is very peaceful here. Unfortunately, the bed gave my husband a backache because the matress was very hard.

Found this quaint pink B&B to be very convenient to everything including parking. Staff especially helpful and loved the canopy bedroom. Breakfast service to room a nice feature.

Elliot House staff were most helpful in finding us tours, restaurants, cabs, etc. The Inn is located where we were able to walk to many sites. We did take one tour outside the city, which was wonderful. We loved the city and the Inn and would return for another visit.

The staff was so friendly! They bring the complimentary continental breakfast to your room on a silver platter and have chocolates with their turn-down service. The front desk staff said we could come back and use their bikes even after check-out. The rooms have gorgeous canapy beds. The best part was the courtyard. They have wine and cheese there in the evening. The tables are a great place to relax during the day, and the hot tub is a wonderful escape at night! We will definitely stay there next time we are in Charleston!

Elliott House Inn is a beatiful Bed and Breakfast located in the historic District of Charleston. It is very convenient to the market, restaurants, and other tourist attractions. The rooms are filled with antiques with a canopy bed. The brick courtyard has many green plants and flowers with a large size jacuzzi. The staff and service was excellent.
