This place was perfect. My wife and I wed at Charlestown Landing and then stayed at the Anchorage for our first night as newlyweds. I booked site unseen but we were more than pleased with the hotel. The bed was excellent. The bathtub was excellent. Everything was excellent. I would definitley stay here the next time I am in Charleston. My only complaint, and it is extremely minor, was that there were no windows in the rooms. But really, there was no reason to spend time in the room other than to sleep.The location was perfect, too. I strongly suggest the Library and Rooftop Bar across the street. We had our rehearsal get-together on the top balcony and loved it!

We spent our wedding night at the Anchorage and it was PERFECT! The only complaint I had was that there were no outside windows in our room - but the room was magnificent. I would definitely stay there again.
