Located one block from Charleston Harbor and adjacent to the historic Old City Market, this five-story luxury hotel opened in 2002, built in the French Quarter architectural style. It offers a spectacular 360-degree view of the city from the rooftop bar where guests can relax by a heated outdoor pool with romantic fountains. Much like a five-star hotel, uniformed doormen greet arriving guests and escort them into the grand lobby. The hotel’s signature restaurant, Grill 225, ranks as one of the best steakhouses in Charleston. Aimed primarily at discriminating leisure and business travelers, a stay at this hotel is worth every penny.

Market Pavilion Hotel Accommodations

Each of the 66 spacious guestrooms features soft Frette Italian linens, cashmere blankets and pillows in six choices of comfort. Beautifully furnished rooms include granite-top desks, complimentary high-speed Internet access, two telephones (one cordless), and cable TV. Private baths with Italian marble floors are stocked with Hermes toiletries, comfy terry robes and slippers.

From Charleston Regional Airport:
Take International Blvd to I-526 E (toward Mount Pleasant) and to I-26 E to Charleston-travel about 8 miles.
Take the Meeting Street/Visitor's Center exit, turn right and follow Meeting Street approximately 0.5 mile;
turn left on Calhoun Street, then turn right on East Bay Street.
The hotel is on the right just past Old City Market.
